Burlesque Madness for Mind!



We are on a mission in 2024 to raise £10,000 for the mental health charity Mind and we need YOUR help!

We’ve been fundraising all year, but this month we’re turning up the heat as we are about to start a series of pure mad challenges…….

Saturday 31st August: The Yorkshire 3 Peaks (3 mountains and 24 miles in one day!)

Saturday 14th September: MIDNIGHT BURLESQUE-ATHON (6 hours non-stop dancing till 6am in our pyjamas)

And the grand finale when we reach our £10,000 goal……… SKYDIVING!






Burlesque Chair Dance HQ moved to Lancashire 2 years ago with a single mission in mind; to engage & empower the women of Lancashire through fitness, fun & friendship. Since then, women of all ages, shapes, sizes, abilities, nationalities, beliefs, backgrounds and occupations have flocked to their local BCD classes across the county, forming a sisterhood of women who empower women.


When women come together they create a safe, supportive place where confidence and self-esteem can flourish, goals can be more easily achieved, and happiness returns and blossoms. Last April we were awarded ‘Best in Health, Fitness & Wellbeing’ at the Coastal Radio Awards in Blackpool Tower Ballroom. It’s safe to say we have achieved our mission and now we, as a team wish to keep the community spirit in full swing and celebrate the successes of all our sisters.

We’ve chosen to support the mental health charity Mind due to the indisputable mental health benefits of fitness, fun & friendship. We are both excited and focused on helping others to grow and flourish as we have, we welcome and thank you for your help and support. 


We are using a shared just giving pot for all our donations so we can keep track on our efforts and share progress with all our supporters:

We are seeking to gain help in raising awareness from local radio/news stations, and we are looking for local businesses to sponsor us and share our success.
