Hi there I’m Sarah AKA Sassy sparkles! About 5 years ago, I was at a real low point in my life, my physical and mental health was very affected, and I wasn’t going out. I had distanced myself from everyone I knew I had to do something, but I hadn’t spoken to my old friends for years….

I love dancing but I only could find children’s and couples dance classes in my area, then finally I found a little dance class only 10 minutes away from me, it was Burlesque Chair Dance! I did not have a clue what it was, I was too scared to even contact the instructor and it then took me another 3 weeks before I plucked up the courage to walk through the doors by myself.

I do not know why I was so scared; I was instantly made feel welcome by everyone as if I was an old friend. Then before I knew it, I was laughing and chatting away; the shy me disappeared, my confidence grew, and I made more effort in my health and started losing the weight while having the time of my life.

I then joined another group (just because I moved) and again, I was made to feel very welcome. It was just over a year ago that my instructor encouraged me to become an instructor myself, and I love helping women blossom and become more confident, realising their potential while were having lots of fun, so why not join our burlesque family?

My classes are £5 each pay as you go, there’s no need to book – just turn up!
