I joined BCD as a dancer back in 2014 always having had a love for dance and when my instructor quit, I saw this as the perfect opportunity to start something new and teach myself!

I’ve always loved dance and burlesque. I loved the routines and the way my class felt like a safe space and I wanted to replicate that and create my own little dance family.

I have been a BCD instructor for nearly 10 years now and have also passed the flex it training as well as being a qualified fire breather (thanks boss!). I also studied dance back in school but that was many years ago now!

 

I love the ladies I teach, I couldn’t do it without them. I love seeing them coming in as shy little mice and seeing their confidence grow week by week and also become part of our dance family. I have met so many amazing women through BCD and they are now life long friends who are the most encouraging, wonderful , supportive people I’ve ever met.

Classes have helped me become so much more confident as well as reigniting my love for dance that I had as a child
I hope that all of my ladies find my classes a welcoming inviting space where they can be themselves and feel like they have a place just for them with no judgment where they can come and have fun and grow confidence, burning calories is just a bonus 😜

With nearly 10 years of experience, I have raised money for local charities through shows and burlesque-athon’s, participated in many regional shows, even becoming one of the top three classes in the UK one year! In recent years we also had our own cabaret team who have been hired out for events! We have ladies of all ages shapes and sizes and strive to make everyone feel welcome and part of the family no matter your experience.
