I will be your Burlesque Chair Dance Instructor for Fleetwood!

 

I am a new instructor, brimming with passion & ambition to promote body confidence. BCD aims to ‘To inspire women across the UK to Get Fit, Lose Weight, Build Confidence and Have FUN!’  Our vision at BCD ‘To be the number 1 choice for women’s fitness across the UK’. 

 

Don’t let being a new instructor fool you …. I come from a professional dance background with certificates from honours to a distinction. I have travelled to many destinations with dance; my highest accomplishment was dancing in Disney Land Paris also world-wide theatres. I started dancing when I was only 2 years old and I’ve loved it ever since.  

 

When I turned 23 I became a mummy, which was the best experience I could ever have hoped for, then again at 25 and trust me, 2 kids under 2 was a lot to handle! I lost the most important thing and that was, I didn’t know who I was anymore… this caused me to lose my confidence due to the weight gain and not having the drive to get back to what I loved to do.

Thankfully, I saw an advert on Facebook for BCD when I was at my most vulnerable and heaviest weight (15 stone), I felt a massive drive to return to dancing which I was missing so much, I told myself “if you want to start being happy and your old self back, only you get do it” so I attended the first class I felt amazing, passionate & confident again!! This gave me the drive I needed. 

 

I am now 9 stone 11! Who would have thought it? But I did it because I got up and fought for myself, turning my mindset into positive thoughts; to not only love a hobby but to love fitness. My mission is to teach yummy mummies and women of all shapes and sizes, to find and to fall in love with themselves all over again! You’ll make new friends (we all know being a mum is hard but finding friends whilst being a mum is also hard), my classes will be a safe and friendly environment for all women.
