My name is Miss Cherry Bomb. I brought Burlesque Chair Dance to Carlisle and I’m extremely proud of that. I love being an Instructor and can honestly say it’s one of the best things I have ever done. I have met so many amazing and inspirational women since I started and wish I had found it sooner. It’s safe to say there is now glitter running through my veins. It’s become a passion and can be yours too!

After an abusive and controlling relationship had ended during lockdown, I started to look for something to get my confidence back. I joined an online Burlesque Chair Dance class and fell in love with it straight away.  Before lockdown ended I knew I wouldn’t be able to continue the classes once the instructors went back to their live classes. As there wasn’t any in Cumbria I decided to do my instructor course and bring it to Carlisle so I could continue dancing and give this opportunity to other Women in my area.  

I love how supportive all the women are of each-other in class and how their confidence grows after only a few sessions.  For me it’s my Happy Place, whatever I have going on in my life,  I have my class of girls to look forward to seeing every week, my mood lifts and we have so much fun. My confidence has grown tremendously, and I have made a lot of new friends I would never have known without it

My hope for every dancer is to leave my class smiling. To do things they never thought they would or could. To feel part of a supportive team, and good enough whatever their size, age, or ability.  To increase their fitness and feel fabulous doing it.    

Ladies of Carlisle…. You should try one of my classes even if it’s just to see what it’s all about. It’s not what you think. So many have joined thinking it might not be for them and are hooked after week one. It’s a fantastic way of making new friends and having a good laugh while working out. We have a great sense of humour and love to meet new people. You are part of a team, and we support each-other always!

My classes are £7 each pay and go, no need to book – just turn up!
