I first tried Burlesque at a BCD class three years ago and instantly loved it! After just a few months, I performed in my first show. I dropped my hat (which was supposed to be balanced on my foot 😆), but it was such a fun, confidence-boosting experience! I love having a dance name, putting on my fishnets and escaping into a wee burlesque bubble!

 

I became an instructor to share that same empowering experience with others. What I love most about being an instructor is seeing the transformation in my dancers—from feeling unsure at first to leaving with their heads held high and a smile on their face. Personally, these classes have made me feel stronger, happier and sassier!

 

And I want that for every woman who joins us. One of the best things about our classes is the sense of community. The women support and encourage each other, often making lasting friendships along the way.
