I started BCD in February 2025 after having a baby. I had moved from Manchester to Blackpool and had no friends. I was overweight and wanted to get into shape. 

 

What started as a typical dance class became so much more for me as I met a great group of ladies I am honoured to call friends. I gained so much confidence and from a few months in knew that I wanted to start my own classes. I wanted to empower women and give them the confidence they deserve. I wanted to give them what BCD gave me. 

 

I want to create a safe environment and for my dancers to be able to be themselves and form new friendships. I want my girls to ooze confidence and feel like nothing is out of reach. 

 

Since starting BCD I have taken part in shows and even performed in the opening number for finals night. It’s opened so many doors for me and I couldn’t be prouder! 

 

I’m down to earth and a true representation of the spice girl era! I’m all about girl power. I don’t take myself too seriously, I’m a bit daft, a bit dippy and I can guarantee a warm welcome to anyone who takes their first step in coming to my class.
