I trained as a burlesque Chair Dance Instructor in September 2023 and started teaching at the beginning of November 2023. I wanted to become an instructor because I had been to numerous burlesque classes in Glasgow over the years but when I moved to Ayrshire I could not find any Burlesque classes.  Also I adore dancing – It is the ultimate fun and fitness activity.

I love the fact that you see burlesque students improve over time, not only when they master the dances and become fitter, but also the huge increase in confidence experienced when dancing. Its lovely when the class bond as a group and new friendships are formed.

The classes have given me more self-confidence, a sense of achievement and my abs are much tighter than before – which is an added bonus.

Every student is different and alternative moves are offered. I want my dancers to feel confident, sexy and empowered Simply let your inner goddesses shine through and have great fun.

I have been a student of dance since the age of 7, ballet, tap and modern stage.  I also did acrobatics.  In my adult life I have attended a variety of dance classes, belly dancing, pole dancing, flamenco dancing and ballet.  I am also a qualified Yoga, Pilates and belly dance and belly core fitness instructor.

​

I would urge all ladies who are interested in joining to come along and try a class – all shapes, sizes and ages welcome.  All dances are fully explained and demonstrated with safety a priority.  We are all very welcoming and always happy when new members join our friendly groups.
